The Buckton Presbyterian Church in Front Royal, Virginia is a congregation of God’s people who share a common journey of faith. We are people with questions, seeking greater understanding of God's love and grace given in the words and message of God's son, Jesus Christ. We welcome people of different backgrounds and experiences, because each individual offers the entire congregation new insight and understanding of God’s presence in the world. Each new person who comes into our midst is a gift from God, who comes to us as partners in a common ministry to God's people. Our hope is that anyone walking through our doors, can be themselves and experience God’s presence within a compassionate Christian community. We hope to meet individuals where they are in their Christian faith journey. In addition to worship, we gather regularly for fun and fellowship, study and support.

The Buckton Presbyterian Church is continually renewed by the gifts and strengths of new people seeking a strong spiritual foundation in their lives and a vitality that comes from faith in Jesus Christ. We are Christ’s disciples striving to grow daily in our faith, seeking to do God’s will, and who want to make a difference in the world. We come in all sizes and shapes, ages, situations, and circumstances, and whatever your life circumstances may be, we are all one in Christ. You are sincerely welcome here.

All of us, as God's children, have an important role to play in the congregation's collective understanding of our responsibility as a Christian community. Together we study, share, and experience God’s word in scripture, through our reformed spiritual traditions, and in service to the community and world.

One becomes an active member of the church through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and acceptance of his Lordship in all of life. Baptism and a public profession of faith in Jesus as Lord are the visible signs of entrance into the active membership of the church. God's love for us is unconditional, therefore we are called to open our doors and our hearts unconditionally to all who seek God.

The Buckton Presbyterian Church affirms that its members are called by God in Christ to service and each has the obligation to use their God-given gifts in ways that benefits and gives glory to God's ongoing work upon this earth. All members are asked to serve in ways that reflect their abilities, including giving of their time and energy to church activities, financial support of the church's work with tithes and offerings and when called by the church to serve as officers and leaders of the church. God may be calling you to this place for a special reason and ministry and we would be glad to have you as a partner in faith. You are welcome to join us in worship, study and fellowship and share your journey as we share ours.

• the proclamation of the gospel for the salvation of humankind;
• the shelter, nurture, and spiritual fellowship of the children of God;
• the maintenance of divine worship;
• the preservation of the truth;
• the promotion of social righteousness;
• and the exhibition of the Kingdom of Heaven to the world.
